Oreo - Produced in 1912 (NY City)

The "Oreo Biscuit" was first developed and produced in 1912 by the National Biscuit Company (today known as Nabisco) in New York City.

But introduced in India only in March 2011 under a major chocolate brand called Cadbury.

The Greek word 'Oreo', meaning beautiful, nice or well done.

Before the launch of Oreo, Britannia launched a similar one named Treat-o in india.
