Vaseline - Invented and named in 1859

Vaseline is a brand of petroleum jelly based products owned by Anglo-Dutch 
company Unilever. Invented and named by Robert Chesebrough in 1859.


Vaseline =  Wasser (Water in German) + elaion (oil in Greek) + ine (Scientific-Sounded Ending)

Bournvita - It was first launched in 1949

Bournvita was first launched in 1949. The chocolate malt drink mixes sold in Europe and North America, India, Nigeria, Ghana, South Africa, Benin and Togo, and manufactured by Cadbury.


But the Bournvita was discontinued in the UK market in 2008.

Four type of Olive Oil - Pomace recommended for Indian cooking

1. Extra Virgin Olive Oil

Used for dressings, vinaigrettes, salads - foods where no heat/ cooking is involved.

2. Virgin Olive Oil
Differs from Extra Virgin in the acidity levels, can be used as replacement for Extra Virgin.

3. Pure Olive Oil
For baking, frying, except deep frying & Stir Frying. Not recommended for Indian food as it has a distinct olive oil flavour.

4. Olive Pomace Oil
Recommended for Indian cooking, high smoking point,neutral fl avour. Deep Frying, Stir Fry - high heat cooking.

Sunsilk was launched in the UK in 1954.
Sunsilk shampoos, conditioners and other hair care products are sold in 69 countries worldwide.
